Agrifutures Pre-Farm Gate Waste

The Agrifutures pre-farm gate waste for agriculture, forestry and fisheries project, was established to help primary producers identify what is needed to improve their waste management. Consultants RMCG are working with AgriFutures Australia to support a Pre-Farm Gate Waste Program, which will align Australia’s agriculture, fisheries and forestry sector with the National Waste Policy (2018). EPR Enviro are engaged as the plastics and product stewardship expert on the project by RMCG.

Among specific areas within the project EPR Enviro have scoped the feasibility of a commercial fishing gear EPR scheme, including dialogue with European and Canadian schemes.
